Norm’s Comment:

Is it the “New World Order” or “Capitalism?”  To my mind, “Capitalism” has always been ‘monopolistic.’  From its inception, it has always been anchored in ‘state power.’  The ‘bourgeoisie’ was never a coterie of democratically minded ‘small shop keepers.’  The ‘bourgeois’ revolution, the transition from feudalism to capitalism, was a project of the already fabulously rich for the fabulously rich organized on the grandest of scales.  And so it continues.  It is a mistake to assume that what we are witnessing today is a corruption of a social order that was once more benign and progressive in its intents.  Listening to Michel Chossudovsky, a person like Karl Marx would recognize the current pattern of world upheaval as a historical continuation of the ‘capitalist project of accumulation,’ which when it resorts to the cruder methods of warfare, he called “primitive accumulation.”

Yes, as Chossudovsky puts it, it is all part of ‘Global Capitalism.’
