Dr. Alexander Unzicker’s blog:

Get Real, Physics: Reflections on the Fundamental Laws of Nature

… To teach you to pass from a piece of disguised nonsense to obvious nonsense, this is my intention.”  — Ludwig Wittgenstein

Norm’s note:

For those of you who are intimidated by ‘physics’ and therefore feel that this presentation by Dr. Alexander Unzicker might not be your cup of tea, there is more to learn, here, about ‘human nature’ than about physics as such, about how your own processes of ‘cognition’ are rooted more in culture, in group biases, than in anything you may fancy as being your own individual ‘insight.’

To a higher or lesser degree, we are all infected by the delusions of our cultural contexts. Unless one recognizes this, unless one learns to both recognize and question what one believes on little else but the authority of a consensus, it is less likely that one will ever rise to a more adequate understanding of oneself, one’s society and the world we share.
